Two cold cases for Tash and the team but one is very old indeed – dating back about 1500 years, in fact. Activities conducted in Menlove when the Romans ruled Britain are contrasted with the gruesome discovery of a man’s recently severed leg. Is he dead or was the limb amputated for some other weird reason? This is a particularly complex case and Tash has a final reckoning with her worst enemy.
