Ben Field accepts a senior policing role in one of the Gulf states. He heads up an investigating unit required to tackle crime committed by or against foreigners. To support him, he hires a young detective constable from Bradford whose family background is Asian. They are soon involved in dealing with murder. Additionally, the international drugs trade is using Ben's new geographical location as an ideal place from which to export their merchandise
